Optelect

Group similar shots and keep the best

Bursts and near-identical frames are grouped; Optelect suggests the sharpest one with open eyes.

When you take several frames of the same moment, Group Similar puts them together so you only choose once.

How to use it

  1. Click Group Similar and confirm the similarity level (you can change it any time in Settings).
  2. Optelect lists the groups on the left. For each group it marks one shot Suggested: the sharpest, with eyes open, judged by its own analysis.
  3. Press Enter (Keep This Shot) to keep the highlighted shot, or click another one first. The others are marked Not best.
  4. Press S (Skip Group) to decide later.

Compare closely

  • 1-up / 2-up (1 / 2): one shot, or two side by side.
  • Z zooms all panels together, so you can compare eyes and focus in the same spot.
  • ← / → move through the shots of a group.
