Liked, disliked, selected: what's the difference?
How Optelect keeps track of your keepers, your rejects and the final set you export.
Optelect keeps two kinds of decisions apart: what you like and what you deliver.
The marks
- Liked: a keeper. You liked it while culling, in People, or kept it as the best shot of a group.
- Disliked: rejected. It leaves the active photos, but nothing is deleted: you can restore it.
- Not best: it lost to a better shot in Group Similar.
- Selected: in your final set, the photos you'll export or send. Tick the checkbox on a photo in the grid, or press Select for export in People.
Why two steps?
Many photographers like more photos than they deliver. Liking first and selecting at the end lets you narrow down calmly in Final review, without losing track of your other good shots.
